Technology.
The best ideas in the world are simple, and a lot of them are about combining existing technologies in new ways that work better in particular conditions. The Faroboats Solar Docking Station is one such example. Our technological challenge was in the integration of solar panels, high capacity batteries, winch cradle capabilities and the overall protection that a dedicated dock should provide for our Faro5. We engaged with Scandinavian scientists and engineers to tackle the complexity of all these different technologies working together on a floating, power-grid-independent dock. The result is a harmonious, sleek floating dock that wraps around your Faro5 like a protective seashell, raising it out of the water and charging its batteries in record time. Fuelling and anti-fouling costs, sun bleaching repairs and boat security charges will all be things of the past that will never worry you again with this Solar Docking Station.
The Powerdock® recharges its batteries completely over the course of one sunny day.

The Powerdock® recharges its batteries over 12 to 14 hours, and then it can fully charge the 6kW Faro5 in less than three hours: anytime, anywhere, regardless of the existence of any power grid at hand. The Powerdock® itself is towable, so you can take it anywhere and have the absolute freedom of quietly exploring some of the remotest, most exquisite corners of the world.

The 6,0kW equipped Faro5 is fully charged in under three hours.

The Solar-charging, floating Powerdock® not only charges the 6kW Faro5 in less than three hours, but it can also raise it completely out of the water to keep its hull dry and free of any fouling.

The Powerdock® fully recharges itself over one single sunny day.

The Powerdock® recharges its batteries over the course of 12 hours in the sun, even while fully recharging the 6.0kW Faro5 in under three hours.

Zero Emissions.
Climate change is upon us. At the very least, anything we can do to fight it, we should. That is why Zero emissions is the hard limit at Faroboats.Guilt-free leisure boating at long last.

The Faroboats Solar Docking Station charges the 6,0kW Faro5’s batteries within a span of 3 to 4 hours.

But it can also raise it completely out of the water, keeping its hull dry and free of any fouling.

Furthermore, the Faro Solar Docking Station was designed - and sized - to fit any single berth at any standard dock or marina anywhere in the world. Whether you are mooring it next to your lake house, or having it tied to your regular finger at the local harbour, you will find that it is the perfect fit for your available space, as well as the custom-tailored fit for your Faro5.

Through the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway are partners, in the internal market, of the Member States of the European Union. As a way of promoting a continuous and balanced strengthening of the economic and trade relations, the parties of the European Economic Area Agreement have established a Multiannual Financial Mechanism, known as the EEA Grants. The EEA Grants aim to reduce the economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area and strengthen the bilateral relations between beneficiary and donor countries. For the period 2014-2021, a total contribution of 2.8 thousand million euros has been agreed to 15 beneficiary countries. Portugal will benefit from an amount of 102.7 million euros.
